She attended the San Francisco School of the Arts, and received a B.A. in Theater Arts and a minor in Italian from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

1. What inspired you to become an actress?
I was inspired to become an actress after attending a summer theatre camp in high school. I was so amazed at the power of storytelling and the art of performing that I knew I wanted to pursue acting as a career.
2. What was your first professional acting job?
My first professional acting job was a role in a national touring company of the play “The Miracle Worker”. I played the part of Kate Keller, Helen Keller’s mother.
3. What has been the highlight of your career so far?
The highlight of my career so far has been performing on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning show “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”. It was an incredible experience and I felt so lucky to be part of it.
4. What advice would you give to aspiring actors?
My advice to aspiring actors would be to be persistent and patient. Acting can be a long, hard journey, but if you stay focused and keep working hard, you will eventually get to where you want to be. Also, don’t be afraid to take risks and try new things.
