Gautam Gambhir and Natasha Jain were initially long-time family friends who eventually kindled a romantic relationship. They exchanged wedding vows in a traditional Punjabi ceremony during the month of October 2011. Career

In 2003, the dashing Gautam made his debut in One-Day Internationals (ODI) against Bangladesh and later in the season, he also played his first Test match against Australia. In the 2010 Asia Cup, a contentious incident occurred when Pakistani cricketer Kamran Akmal vehemently appealed against Gautam Gambhir, provoking a heated argument between the two. However, the altercation was swiftly diffused by umpires and fellow players.
