Early Life

Amir was the second youngest of seven children when he was born on April 13, 1992, in Changa Bangial, Gujar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. He is the son of Raja Muhammad Fayyaz. Wasim Akram is his favorite bowler and an idol, he said. I used to attempt to figure out what he was doing with the ball when I watched him on television. I would then emulate his behavior and bowling outside.

When Amir was 11 years old and participating in a local competition, Asif Bajwa, the director of the Bajwa Cricket Academy in Rawalpindi, noticed his talent and extended an invitation for him to enroll. Amir and his family moved to Lahore to be near world-class cricket facilities after being chosen for the national squad.

Education

Before beginning a career in cricket, Mohammad Amir originally attended a local school in his Pakistani birthplace of Gujjar Khan. Because of his early sporting success, he was forced to devote all of his attention to cricket, which constrained his ability to pursue a formal education.

Domestic and T20 Career

Wasim Akram, a former Pakistani speedster who found Amir in 2007 while taking part in a fast cricket program, served as Amir’s mentor as his career as a fast bowler got off to a rapid start. Amir, who is only 15 years old, was chosen to travel to England with the Pakistan Cricket team’s U-19 age group. He emerged as one of the standout performers, taking 8 wickets at an amazing pace of 16.37, soon demonstrating his potential as a bowler. During this tour, Mohammad Amir made a notable achievement by taking 4 wickets in back-to-back matches against Sri Lanka and England.

Amir once again displayed his amazing pace and swing bowling abilities in a subsequent tri-nation tournament held in Sri Lanka, taking 9 wickets at an astounding average of 11.22 in just three matches. However, an injury hindered his ability to compete in the 2008 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Malaysia.

T10 Franchise Career

Amir was signed by the Bangla Tigers for the T10 League in 2021–2022, but he was forced to drop out of the competition after testing positive for COVID–19, making him ineligible.
