Rashid Khan Arman, an Afghan cricketer who competes internationally and leads the country’s T20I squad, was born on September 20, 1998. He is an important member of the Gujarat Titans of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Adelaide Strikers of the Big Bash League (BBL) of Australia, Lahore Qalandars of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), and Band-e-Amir Dragons of the Shpageeza Cricket League of Afghanistan. Rashid Khan is renowned for his left-handed batting approach and right-arm leg spin bowling.
Family
Rashid was born into an upper-middle-class Islamist family with a strong commitment to Islam. His family comes from the eastern part of Afghanistan. Rashid Khan’s parents’ identities are unknown, however, he was very close to his father, who tragically passed away in 2018. A protracted sickness claimed the life of his mother as well. Rashid has a total of 10 siblings, including four brothers, in addition to his parents. Early Life
Rashid Khan, a Jalalabad native who was born in 1998 in Nangarhar, Eastern Afghanistan, is one of ten siblings. His family had to temporarily relocate to Pakistan for a few years during his childhood due to the Afghan war. They resumed their usual lives in Afghanistan after their return, with Rashid pursuing his studies. Rashid developed an interest in cricket along with his brothers. He studied and perfected his smooth bowling technique from Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi, of whom he was a fervent admirer.

Rashid Khan received his education in Afghanistan, where he went to Jalalabad’s Nangarhar High School. After that, he managed his college studies with his cricket preparation, though he hasn’t revealed much about his academic career.

Personal Life
One of 11 siblings, Rashid Khan was born in Nangarhar, Afghanistan, in 1998. Unluckily, his mother died in 2020, and his father in 2018. The family had previously relocated for a short while to Pakistan. Rashid sent poignant remarks on his social media accounts following the passing of his parents. He currently resides in Dubai and plays in numerous international cricket competitions all around the world. He is not wed as of yet.

International Career
On October 18, 2015, Rashid Khan made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Afghanistan against Zimbabwe. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket debut on October 26 against Zimbabwe during the same series. When he recorded his first five-wicket haul in a T20I on March 10, 2017, against Ireland, it was a turning point in his career.
His outstanding performance, which included five wickets for only three runs, ranks as the joint fourth-highest bowling performance in all T20Is and is the best bowling stats by an Afghan bowler in a T20I match. Rashid Khan also made history by being the first T20I player to take five wickets in two innings of play. Rashid and Najeeb Tarakai split “Man of the Match” honors as Afghanistan triumphed with a 3-0 series win.
