On December 13, 2015, Rohit Sharma entered into matrimony with Ritika Sajdeh, who had been his manager, friend, and partner for six years. Their introduction came about through senior player Yuvraj Singh in 2008. The couple currently resides in a 4-BHK apartment situated in Ahuja Towers, Worli, Mumbai.
International Career
Rohit Sharma made his ODI debut against Ireland in Belfast during India’s 2007 tour. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the opportunity to bat in that game. However, in the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 match against South Africa on September 20, 2007, he played a pivotal role, earning the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his unbeaten 50 off 40 deliveries, which helped India secure victory.
His performances earned him a spot in the 2007-08 Commonwealth Bank Series in Australia, thanks to his first ODI half-century achieved against Pakistan in Jaipur on November 18, 2007.
