Early Life
In Bombay City, a region of Bombay State in the Indian Republic, Sanjay Dutt was born. His parents, Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt, were well-known Hindi film stars. His mother was of Punjabi Muslim ancestry, while his father was of Punjabi Hindu Mohyal Brahmin ancestry. The West Punjab region of the Rawalpindi Division is where Dutt’s ancestors originated.

Sanjay Dutt pursued his education at the Lawrence School, situated near Kasauli in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
Personal Life
Early in the 1980s, Tina Munim, Sanjay Dutt’s co-star from his first movie, and he were romantically involved. However, following their split, Dutt married the actress Richa Sharma in 1987. Tragically, Richa passed away in 1996 from a brain tumor. Trishala Dutt, the daughter of the couple, was born in 1988. Currently, Trishala lives in the US with her maternal grandparents.
Film Career
When he was just 12 years old, Sanjay Dutt made his acting debut in the 1979 movie “Reshma and Shera” as a young artist. His first acting role was in the 1981 Sunil Dutt-directed movie “Rocky,” which marked the beginning of his rise to stardom. Sanjay’s parents were looking forward to the film’s release with great anticipation, but regrettably, his mother Nargis passed away from cancer before the premiere.
Sanjay Dutt was deeply affected by the news of his mother’s passing, and there are rumors that he turned to narcotics as a coping mechanism. He also became well-known for his eccentric behavior at this time. Sunil Dutt brought Sanjay to a de-addiction institution in the hopes that it would help his son get over his addiction.
