Shubman Gill’s introduction to the cricket world occurred serendipitously. He was quietly practicing at a small academy near Mohali’s PCA Stadium when former Indian fast bowler Karsan Ghavri organized a bowling camp for aspiring seamers. During this camp, Ghavri encouraged young talents to face his bowlers, and it was at this moment that Shubman caught the eye.
